The PRI Advanced Package is for Telecom Managers who are frustrated by the investigation time and lack of information associated with PRI problems. By extracting raw data directly from the PRI D-channels and storing records for up to 400 days, managers can use their PC to see PRI activity and diagnostics during the problem time period. As the PRI Manager system is based on standard PRI protocols, managers can easily generate reports for any Telecom center around the world.


A single system can monitor up to 8 D-channels and 128 T1/E1s. A full system can monitor up to 2,000 D-channels and up to 32,000 T1/E1s in a single location or multiple locations around the world.

Many Sites

The system is composed of software and hardware components. Software is an independent program designed to operate on any MS Windows based PC or server.


It can connect to 250 hardware units through dial-up or LAN, and can provide the following functions:


  • PRI T1/E1 usage.
  • Causes of not answered calls.
  • PRI traffic statistics in real-time and for the last 64 days, broken down into incoming, outgoing and bi-directional traffic.
  • T1/E1 trunk provisioning scheme and utilization.
  • Visual and Erlang-B detection of blocked traffic.
  • User definable traffic Groups that match to business phone numbers and other criteria.
  • Group traffic statistics in real-time and for the last 64 days.
  • Mapping of traffic Groups to live B-channels. Identification of active, idle and bad/unused B channels.
  • Real-time decoding of Q931 protocol for call troubleshooting or verification of PRI provisioning.
  • Configurable alarms for traffic Groups based on B-channel threshold.
  • Alarms for loss of D-channel and T1/E1 failures.
  • Automatic delivery of alarms via Email.
  • Automatic traffic measurement for all extensions and PBX routes.
  • Call detail records (CDR) that include the full Q931 message sequence and traffic summary for blocked calls. Users can identify the cause of call blockage, who initiated call blockage and the trunk traffic background at the time of the call.
  • Up to 400 days data stored locally, and data can be downloaded into a user PC or server to extend storage indefinitely.
  • Data can be exported for report generation, such as PRI operation summary, caller identification, call patterns, etc.. Standardized reports are based on data exported to text files for easy integration to any report process.
