To change the date format in your PC:

1.  click on Start/Settings/Control Panel 
2.  double click on "Regional Settings"
3.  you will see "Regional Setting", "Number", "Currency", "Time" and "Date", click on "Date"
4.  enter "yy/mm/dd" in the "short date style" field, then click "apply" and "ok"
